The Blackface Fender Deluxe, produced from 1964 - 1967, is one of the most storied vintage guitar amps ever built. This non-reverb model was essentially a beefed-up Princeton with a 12" speaker hit by 20 watts of power from a pair of 6V6 tubes, and separate Normal and Vibrato inputs.

Units made before the takeover of Fender by CBS in 1965 will be marked Fender Electric Instruments, and be worth a bit more on the collectors market. The 35w blackface Vibrolux Reverb (VR) is the smallest member of the blackface/silverface 6L6 Fender amp family. Its strength lies in the sweetness and early breakup caused by the smaller transformers than the Super Reverb, Vibroverb and Pro Reverb. Exactly the type of tubes that would’ve been put in an early 60s Fender amp. Have barely been used and have a lots of life left. Also includes after market footswitch for tube driven tremolo.
